Information About Influenza A H1N1 (Swine Flu)
Although Swine Flu is in its early stages, UConn Stamford encourages everyone on campus to take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus in our classrooms, restrooms, and other public areas of the building.
Everyone should follow the guidelines pertaining to personal hygiene that are posted on the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website (see below) and also monitor the status of outbreaks in the region by following the Stamford Advocate website (see below).
Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to seek medical attention if you exhibit symptoms associated with the Swine Flu and follow your doctors’ advice to remain home if such advice is given.
the UConn Stamford Campus administration will continue to keep the faculty, staff, and students informed about new developments about the swine flu, and if appropriate, share information that may impact the daily operation of the campus.
