Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling Must be done only once when first accepting Stafford loans and before loans can be disbursed along with Mater Promissary Note (MPN)
Stafford Loan Exit Counseling Must be done immediately upon leaving the University (whether withdrawing, cancelling registration, or dismissed)
Master Promissary Note (MPN) Must be done in order for loans to be disbursed along with Entrance Loan Counseling

  • Direct Deposit offered as an option for refunds. Read more about it here: Direct Deposit Refunds
  • UConn converted to Paperless E-bills. Paper bills are no longer mailed home. You will receive emails via HuskyMail and you have access via PeopleSoft.
  • Fall tuition/fee bill due August 1 and Spring tuition/fee bill due January 8.
  • FERPA Privacy Waiver should be completed via PeopleSoft.
  • Information on UConn’s Interest Free Payment Plan can be found in the Bursar Office, room 202.
  • Federal Funds: Title IV Waiver should be completed via PeopleSoft. Financial Aid refunds checks may be picked up on the first day of class of each semester as per federal guidelines.
  • To waive the University Health Insurance you must complete the waiver via PeopleSoft by September 15 for Fall semester.  If entering UConn in the Spring semester you must complete Health Insurance Waiver by February 5.
  • If you were billed for parking, but do not wish to park in the campus parking garage please fill out the Parking Decal Waiver Form and submit to Bursar Office.  Please check huskymail for deadline dates to cancel parking for the academic year or if entering in the Spring semester (Dates will vary depending the semester).
  • Parking decals are non- refundable once purchased.  Parking decal for the year is $40, for spring semester only is $20, for summer/winter session $10 and any additional decals are $10.
  • Check HuskyMail frequently as financial business is done in this secure manner.
  • Financial Aid package information must be reviewed via PeopleSoft.
