Background:
Sheila Moore has a MS & MBA with 20 years diversified
experience working in Human Resources/Administration
in startup, corporate and manufacturing conglomerates.
As the Associate Director and nearly ten years of
experience at UCONN Stamford, she has been responsible
for the formation of key communications and orientation
for faculty and facility operations. Her pivotal
contribution at the Stamford campus has been staffing
and establishing the internship and career center.
She has undergraduate teaching experience in business
and organizational behavior as well as teaching
English as a Second Language.
Expertise:
Her human resources, internship/career services
counseling and undergraduate teaching expertise
is instrumental in managing the purchasing, financial,
facility operations, technical, veteran affairs,
faculty and information services for the campus.
Specific expertise in Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting,
Training and Development, Career Counseling, and
Human Resource Systems.
Activities:
Member of the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, Member
of SACIA, UCONN Professional Staff Association.
