How I Write: Conversations with Writers - Held in Spring Semesters

  • How I Write: Conversations with Writers is a series of conversations with UCONN faculty who are experienced in academic writing in their relative disciplines. All types of writing, however, are open topics for discussion. The goal of the series is to bring together these writers, UCONN students, and the Stamford community members to discuss research and writing process, and learn about how
writing is done differently and/or similarly in different areas of study.
FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

Tutor Talks

  • Tutors and Writing Program faculty are available to give “tutor talks” to classes to introduce students to the writing help available in the Center. We encourage faculty members to request “tutor talks” for their classes so that their students can familiarize themselves with Writing Center resources. Talks last about 5 minutes and can be scheduled for any time within the class period.
